Interest Groups

The COA offers opportunities to get together with others who share a particular interest. Check our monthly Newsletter for current dates and times.

Genealogy:  Share great conversations, research tips and fascinating stories from the past with a group of fellow history and genealogy buffs. This group typically meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month, at 1:00pm. New members and visitors are always welcome.

Grandparents: Dr. Dossie Kahn from Wayland’s Youth and Family Services facilitates a monthly grandparents’ group on the 2nd Tuesday at 10:30am. This casual gathering offers the opportunity to discuss the uniquely rewarding and sometimes challenging relationships between the generations. Participants share ideas and resources. Newcomers are most welcome.

Connections: Connect with new and old friends and enjoy good conversation and a social time together. The group is facilitated by a great conversationalist, and meets Mondays at 2:30pm. Drop in!

Scrabble: If you like words, games and friends, you’ll enjoy coming on Fridays at 10:00am for a friendly game of Scrabble. Build words and friendships while you play.
