The SMOC FUEL ASSISTANCE program helps low-income applicants pay a portion of their winter heating bills. Eligibility is based on the total gross annual income for an entire household, which must fall below $37,360 for a household of one or $48,485 for two.
An in-person interview is required for all first-time applicants and supporting documents are required. Wayland residents may complete this process at the Council on Aging, or at SMOC in Framingham.
